It's Five O'Clock Somewhere is a vibrant Gose that captures the essence of a classic Margarita through a sharp, refreshing lens. Brewed by Range Brewing, this summer-focused ale utilizes a wheat malt base to provide a soft, doughy foundation for the bright additions of fresh lime and lemon. The citrus impact is immediate and zesty, harmonizing with a clean lactic tartness that cleanses the palate. A deliberate addition of Tasmanian sea salt provides a savory, mouthwatering edge that lingers on the finish, accentuating the crisp, effervescent nature of this highly carbonated, low-ABV sour ale.

Appearance. Pale yellow (3 SRM) with a moderate haze. Features a moderate white head with tight bubbles and fair retention, showing light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of zesty lime and fresh lemon peel. Behind the citrus, a moderate bready wheat malt character provides balance. Low lactic sourness is present alongside a faint, clean mineral sea salt note. No hop aroma or fermentation esters.

Taste. Initial impression is bright and tart, dominated by zingy lime and lemon juice flavors. A moderate bready malt backbone supports the acidity. Bitterness is very low, with the balance driven by lactic tartness. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp, punctuated by a noticeable but integrated Tasmanian sea salt character that leaves a mouthwatering, lingering savory sensation.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high, effervescent carbonation. The salt addition provides a distinct tingly, mouthwatering sensation on the tongue. No alcohol warmth or astringency; extremely crisp and refreshing.
