Fast Lane is a quintessential Hazy IPA that exemplifies the style’s tropical intensity and plush, inviting texture. The pour reveals a bright, milky haze topped with a persistent, fluffy white foam. A masterful hop blend featuring Sabro Cryo, Citra, Cashmere, and Nelson Sauvin drives a complex profile dominated by pineapple and coconut, reminiscent of a fresh Piña Colada. Beneath these bold notes, layers of sticky peach, nectarine, and mango emerge, accented by a subtle musk stick sweetness. Despite its creamy, oat-like mouthfeel, the experience remains remarkably drinkable with a dry, sherbety finish and incredibly low bitterness, keeping the focus entirely on the vibrant fruit expression.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold in color (3-5 SRM) with a bright, milky, and nearly opaque haze. Topped with a beautiful, fluffy, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by pineapple and creamy coconut. Layers of passionfruit, mango, and stone fruit follow, supported by a clean, neutral, grainy-bready malt backbone. No caramel or toast character; fermentation esters are clean and supportive.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavor featuring pineapple, creamy coconut, sticky peach, and nectarine. A unique hint of musk sticks adds complexity. Malt is low and bready. Bitterness is very low and masked by a soft body, leading to a clean, dry, sherbet-like finish rather than a sweet one.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth and creamy texture. Moderate carbonation and light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Lacks harshness or astringency, providing an exceptionally soft mouthfeel.
