Inspired by the legendary witch of Ellezelles, Quintine Blonde is a robust Belgian Golden Strong Ale that balances traditional brewing magic with a bold sensory profile. This unfiltered ale presents a heady bouquet of floral and fruity hop notes, evoking meadows and orchard blossoms. A soft, grainy-sweet malt backbone provides a smooth foundation for prominent pear-like esters and a subtle peppery alcohol warmth. Despite its strength, the finish is remarkably dry and effervescent, driven by a firm bitterness that lingers alongside flowery hop oils. It is a complex, medium-bodied elixir that masterfully conceals its potency behind a vibrant, ester-forward character.
Appearance. Presents a hazy, golden-blonde color (4-6 SRM) due to its unfiltered and unpasteurized nature. It is topped by a massive, long-lasting, rocky white head that leaves dense, characteristic Belgian lacing on the glass.
