The profile is anchored by a rich, bready sweetness from pure Moravian Pilsner malt, balanced by the refined spicy and herbal notes of Žatecký poloraný červeňák and Sládek hops. After maturing for 100 days in brewery cellars, this strong lager presents a robust, full-bodied character with a clean fermentation profile and a lingering, elegant bitterness. The elevated alcohol content provides a gentle, welcoming warmth, making it a powerful yet remarkably drinkable expression of Bohemian brewing excellence.
Appearance. Deep gold color (approx. 8 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a large, creamy, persistent off-white head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity grainy-sweet malt aroma with a doughy, lightly toasted quality and low Maillard products. Moderate spicy and herbal hop character. Clean lager fermentation profile with a very light, well-integrated alcohol note and no fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is dominated by rich, bready malt sweetness. Mid-palate introduces a firm but smooth hop bitterness and spicy, floral flavors from Sládek and Žatecký hops. The balance is malty but not cloying, leading to a moderately dry, clean finish with a lingering noble hop character and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy texture and no astringency. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp edge to the malt weight. Noticeable, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
