This vibrant American IPA is a hop-forward collaboration showcasing a saturated, juicy profile. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense trio of Krush, Citra, and Galaxy hops, delivering a punchy bouquet of overripe passionfruit, zesty pink grapefruit, and lush stone fruit. A clean, pale malt base provides a lean, grainy backbone that allows these modern hop varieties to remain the primary focus. On the palate, a firm but smooth bitterness balances the tropical sweetness, leading to a crisp, medium-dry finish. Expect a refreshing, bright character where the resinous depth of Citra meets the exotic, sun-drenched fruitiness of Galaxy.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a thick, persistent white head with excellent retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tropical passionfruit and mango from Galaxy, layered with Citra-driven grapefruit and lime zest. Krush hops contribute a distinct ripe peach and apricot note. Low, clean grainy maltiness with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Assertive hop flavors of intense tropical fruit and citrus. Initial impression is fruity and bright, followed by a medium-high, clean bitterness. The finish is dry and hoppy with a lingering resinous aftertaste. Malt character is supportive, tasting of fresh crackers and light bread.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
