Pipeline Brewing Co

Dope is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures the essence of modern hop saturation. It leads with a profound, punchy bouquet driven by the synergy of Strata and Mosaic hops. Expect an olfactory rush of super tropical passion fruit and mango, grounded by a distinctively dank, resinous undertone. The malt profile is discreetly supportive, offering a soft, bready foundation that allows the hops to shine without interference. On the palate, the experience is lush and smooth, delivering layers of overripe stone fruit and citrus. Its finish is gently off-dry with a restrained bitterness, ensuring the massive hop character remains approachable and intensely drinkable.

Appearance. Deep gold with an opaque, hazy glow. Pours with a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head that exhibits high retention and leaves thick lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit aromas including passion fruit and mango, paired with a prominent dank, resinous character from the Strata and Mosaic hops. A clean, lightly bready malt backbone sits in the background. Low fruity esters are present but secondary to the explosive hop profile.

Taste. Very high fruity hop flavors of tropical fruit and berry-led sweetness. The bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and well-integrated, never harsh. A low, grainy malt flavor provides a soft platform. The finish is smooth and off-dry, lingering with a saturated hop oil presence and a clean fermentation character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate. A very light alcohol warmth is present, but the overall feel is creamy without being cloying, lacking any hop astringency or harshness.
