PINTA Molto Bene reimagines the classic German Pils through an Italian lens, emphasizing a vibrant hop-forward profile. Brewed with continental Pilsner malt, it offers a refined base of toasted cracker and light honey. The hallmark of this version is the dry hopping, which elevates the traditional herbal and spicy German hop notes into a more intense floral and citrus-zest bouquet. It maintains a clean lager fermentation, ensuring a crisp, refreshing experience. With a medium-light body and a firm, lingering bitterness, this Pilsner balances heritage with a modern, aromatic edge that defines the refreshed style of an Italian-style Pilsner.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM); brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderately-high intensity featuring prominent flowery, spicy, and herbal hop notes from dry hopping. Low grainy-sweet, doughy malt character with a hint of toasted cracker; clean fermentation profile with no esters.
Taste. Initial malt flavor of light cracker is quickly overcome by a firm hop bitterness. Hop flavors are floral and herbal, following the aroma. High bitterness that lingers into a very dry, crisp finish with a clean aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation that provides a crisp, refreshing snap. No alcohol warmth; smooth and clean with no astringency.
