PINTA Big Trip is an assertive West Coast-style Triple IPA that hides its 10% ABV behind a surprisingly dry, drinkable frame. The sensory experience is dominated by the bold interaction of Citra and Simcoe hops, delivering a punchy bouquet of resinous pine, bright grapefruit, and ripe tropical fruit. It pours with striking clarity, showcasing a lean malt structure that provides just enough support for the aggressive bitterness to shine without becoming harsh. This Double IPA is a focused journey into hop intensity, finishing clean with a lingering, resinous snap and a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth that belies its significant strength.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (7-10 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head and excellent clarity.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring pungent grapefruit, resinous pine, and tropical mango notes from Citra and Simcoe. Low, clean, neutral malt background with a hint of smooth alcohol warmth and a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. A powerful initial hop impact of citrus zest and pine needles. The malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, allowing a firm, high bitterness to dominate the palate. The finish is remarkably dry and clean, leaving a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste and a smooth, warming sensation.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a crisp edge, while a noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth reflects the high gravity without being solventy or harsh.
