This Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory experience, defined by twenty months of maturation in Rittenhouse Rye and Willett Bourbon barrels. The nose is greeted by an intense layering of dark chocolate from cocoa nibs and a bright, zesty lift from orange peel. On the palate, the Rittenhouse Rye barrels contribute a distinctive peppery spice that cuts through the rich, velvety body, while the Willett Bourbon influence provides smooth notes of vanilla and charred oak. Appearance. Opaque jet black (40+ SRM) with a dense, persistent dark mocha head. High viscosity and alcohol content are visible via prominent legs on the glass.
