Too Many Red Lights is a bold Red IPA that showcases a masterful balance between punchy hop character and a robust malt backbone. At 6.2% ABV, this Specialty IPA offers a complex sensory journey, beginning with a striking deep copper hue and a persistent off-white head. The aroma is dominated by high-intensity notes of resinous pine and citrus zest, layered over a foundation of toasted bread and light caramel. On the palate, a firm bitterness is supported by the sweetness of specialty malts, providing flavors of toffee and dark fruit. The experience concludes with a clean, dry finish and a lingering resinous aftertaste.

Appearance. Deep copper to reddish-amber (15-22 SRM). Clear with a moderate, persistent off-white to light tan head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High hop aroma with prominent resinous pine, grapefruit, and floral citrus notes. Low to moderate malt character featuring toasted bread, caramel, and a hint of dark fruit esters. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression of punchy citrus and resinous hops followed by a sturdy backbone of caramel and toasted malt flavor. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, but smooth and well-balanced by the specialty malt sweetness. No roasted or burnt character. The finish is off-dry to dry with a lingering hop resin and light toffee aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a lively feel. Subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being hot.
