This Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory experience, defined by its intensive Bourbon barrel aging and rich adjunct additions. A massive profile of dark chocolate and roasted malts forms the foundation, immediately layered with aromatic waves of vanilla and woody maple syrup. The collaboration between Pühaste and PINTA Barrel Brewing delivers deep notes of charred oak, caramel, and a hint of dark dried fruits like raisins. Luxuriously thick and warming, the palate is a harmonious blend of espresso-like roast and lingering maple sweetness, finishing with a sophisticated spirit-forward complexity that balances the immense 14% ABV.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). Crowned by a small, dense, dark tan head with moderate retention that leaves thick, oily legs on the glass as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex blend of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, and heavy Bourbon influence featuring charred oak and caramel. Prominent maple syrup and vanilla beans provide a sweet, dessert-like layer over subtle dark fruit esters of fig and prune.

Taste. Intense initial flavors of maple syrup and vanilla give way to deep-roasted grain and cocoa. Mid-palate introduces bourbon-soaked wood, toasted marshmallows, and toffee. Bitterness is medium-high but well-integrated against a significant residual sweetness. The finish is long and lingering, featuring a blend of roast, spirit warmth, and wood tannins.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present without being sharp or solventy, enhancing the overall richness.
