This American IPA presents a vibrant hop-forward character derived from a complex blend of aromatic varieties. The use of Chinook and Citra Cryo anchors the profile with classic notes of resinous pine and bright grapefruit zest. Ekuanot adds layers of tropical fruit and herbal complexity, while Zappa contributes unique spicy and savory nuances. The addition of Barbe Rouge introduces subtle hints of ripe red berries. A clean, grainy malt base supports the assertive bitterness without competing for attention. It finishes dry and crisp, emphasizing the diverse hop bouquet and leaving a lingering, refreshing citrus and piney impression on the palate.

Appearance. Color is a deep gold (approx. 8 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a medium-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by grapefruit, lemon zest, and resinous pine. Secondary notes of tropical melon and a distinct berry-like sweetness appear alongside a faint spicy pepperiness. The malt is low and neutral, offering a clean, cracker-like background with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply hop-forward, leading with flavors of pine needles and citrus peel. Mid-palate reveals complex layers of tropical fruit and light red currant. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, well-supported by a lean, grainy malt backbone. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering resinous and citrusy aftertaste that remains clean and free of harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the hop oils. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a prickly, refreshing sensation. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
