This Global IPA is a sensory expedition, presenting a striking, opaque bright green appearance that signals its bold, eclectic character. The aroma is an intense explosion of tropical passionfruit and exotic lychee, woven with a subtle, nutty coconut whisper from Asian Pandan. Brewed with high-quality British malts, the palate offers a richly textured, medium-full body that balances the tartness of the fruit with a refined hop-forward bitterness. Northern Monk’s collaboration with Prizm and Superflux ensures the hop profile remains vibrant and bright, while the finish is long and fruit-laden, showcasing a masterful integration of unconventional botanicals into a smooth, modern IPA framework.
Appearance. Opaque and vibrantly bright green; displays a thick, creamy white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominated by sharp, zesty passionfruit and sweet, floral lychee esters. A secondary layer of herbal, vanilla-like coconut emerges from the pandan, supported by a low, clean bready malt note and tropical hop aromatics.
Taste. Initial punch of tart passionfruit followed quickly by succulent lychee sweetness. The mid-palate introduces a subtle, creamy coconut flavor. Bitterness is moderate and clean, balancing the fruit acidity. British malts provide a solid, slightly honeyed backbone that finishes dry yet remains fruit-saturated and complex.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, rich, and creamy texture; moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth on the finish.
