Inspired by the classic Belgian monastic tradition, this Belgian Dark Strong Ale pours a deep coppery-brown with a towering, creamy head. The aroma is a complex tapestry of rich caramel malt, sweet dark candi sugar, and intense dark fruit esters reminiscent of black cherries, plums, and raisins. On the palate, a robust, toasted malt backbone beautifully balances expressive yeast-driven spicy phenols of black pepper and warm vanilla. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth integrates seamlessly into a medium-full, creamy body, leading to a moderately dry finish that leaves a lingering, elegant impression of dark stone fruit.
