Cuando Nøgne Ø decidió elaborar su lote 500 de cerveza, se estableció rápidamente que los números clave serían 5 maltas, 5 lúpulos, 10% de alcohol y 100 IBU. El resultado es una Imperial IPA increíblemente rica y lupulada. Suficientemente maltosa como para ser casi un vino de cebada, pero intensamente afrutada, principalmente porque está lupulizada en seco con generosas cantidades de lúpulo Nelson Sauvin de Nueva Zelanda.
