Solid Gold IPA presents a vibrant and modern interpretation of the American IPA, showcasing a bright, hop-forward profile led by the dual influence of Simcoe and El Dorado hops. The Simcoe contribution provides a foundational layer of resinous pine and subtle earthy berry notes, while El Dorado lifts the sensory experience with lush aromas of tropical pineapple and ripe stone fruit. A clean, crackery malt base offers just enough support to balance the firm bitterness without detracting from the hop intensity. This medium-light bodied ale finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering trail of citrus zest and tropical fruit on the palate, making for a refreshingly balanced yet pungent experience.

Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM); clear with a brilliant shimmer; persistent, medium-sized white head with moderate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine and grapefruit from the Simcoe, complemented by tropical notes of pineapple and mango from the El Dorado. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness in the background with a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop punch. Medium-high hop flavors of pine, passion fruit, and bright pineapple dominate. Low grainy-sweet malt provides a supportive but lean backbone. Bitterness is firm and clean, leading into a dry finish with a lingering aftertaste of citrus peel and resin.
