Pan.Pot presents a vibrant sensory collision, wedding a plush Hazy IPA foundation with an exotic trio of calamansi, yuzu, and dragonfruit. The aroma is an intense citrus grove, dominated by the sharp, floral zest of yuzu and the sour-orange brightness of calamansi. On the palate, the dragonfruit contributes a delicate, kiwi-like sweetness and a striking magenta-tinted hue to the hazy pour. Soft, doughy malts and tropical hop notes provide a juicy counterpoint to the fruit’s refreshing acidity, finishing with a smooth, velvety texture and a lingering, zest-driven brightness. This Fruit Beer maintains its identity as a craft ale while showcasing a complex, multi-layered botanical profile.
Appearance. SRM 6-10 (though significantly altered by dragonfruit to a hazy, vibrant coral-pink or magenta). Opaque clarity with a thick, frothy, pale-pink head that exhibits excellent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant floral yuzu and sharp calamansi zest layered over tropical hop notes of mango and guava. Low sweet-bready malt character with a subtle, earthy, dragonfruit sweetness and no hop-derived grassiness.
Taste. Initial tart citrus impression from the yuzu and calamansi, followed by a juicy mid-palate featuring dragonfruit and tropical fruit esters. Malt flavor is low, suggesting soft wheat and oats. Hop bitterness is low to moderate, providing just enough structure to balance the fruit acidity. The finish is off-dry and refreshing with a lingering citrus peel aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation and low alcohol warmth. A slight, pleasant fruit-skin astringency provides a crisp edge to the smooth finish.
