This vibrant Hazy IPA offers a concentrated exploration of Citra hops, utilized in various forms including Citra Dynaboost and Citra Spectrum to create an overwhelming sensory experience. The pour reveals a luscious, opaque body reminiscent of fresh-pressed juice. Explosive aromas of blood orange and bitter orange peel dominate the nose, supported by Citra’s signature notes of grapefruit and lemon. On the palate, the profile is intensely juicy, delivering a wave of citrus zest and sweet orange pulp balanced by a soft, bready malt backbone. A smooth, velvety mouthfeel carries the fruit-forward flavors into a clean, low-bitterness finish that remains remarkably refreshing despite its aromatic depth.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold with an orange hue (SRM 4-6); opaque and hazy with a luminous shine. Thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; overwhelming aromas of freshly peeled orange and zesty blood orange. Layered behind the fruit additions are Citra hop notes of white grapefruit, lemon curd, and a hint of tropical lychee. Clean, bready, and lightly doughy malt character provides a subtle base. No herbal or grassy notes.

Taste. Immediate impact of saturated citrus fruit flavor, featuring explosive orange, tart grapefruit, and bright lemon. The additions of orange peel and blood orange slices heighten the juicy character. Malt flavor is low to moderate, reminiscent of fresh flour and light crackers. Perceived bitterness is moderate-low and smooth, never harsh. The finish is off-dry and fruit-heavy with a clean, lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture and no astringency. Moderate carbonation provides enough lift to prevent heaviness. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.8% ABV.
