Moon Gazer - Norfolk Brewhouse Three Counties

Three Counties Pale Ale is a collaboration brew with Moon Gazer Ale (Norfolk), Nethergate Brewery (Suffolk) and Mersea Island Brewery (Essex).  This fruity golden pale ale reflects not only East Anglia’s brewing heritage but also the history of the region. The obvious choice of malt was Maris Otter, an East Anglian success story, renowned by brewers across the world! Additional complexity has been added by way of Pilsner and Vienna malts, whilst also giving a nod to the European influences that have helped to shape the region.  When it comes to hops, Three Counties Pale Ale showcases some of the newer UK hop varieties including Admiral, Ernest and Godiva which add subtle notes of apricot, orange and peach. Finally, the recipe is complete with an acknowledgment of the Roman’s place in East Anglian history with the addition of orange peel to add zest!   Three Counties Pale Ale is a light golden ale with smooth, crisp and fruity finish with balanced bitterness.
