Metanoia Brewing

This modern take on the German Pils showcases a vibrant, aromatic profile through meticulous dry hopping. Utilizing El Dorado and Motueka, the beer elevates the traditional crisp, cracker-like Continental Pilsner malt base with punchy sensory cues. The bright tropical stone fruit notes of El Dorado and the zesty lime and lemon character of Motueka dance atop a classic spicy and floral hop foundation. It pours brilliant gold with a persistent white head, delivering a sharp, clean bitterness and a bone-dry finish that emphasizes its refreshing lager origins while highlighting contemporary hop varieties and a clean fermentation profile.

Appearance. Brilliant straw to deep yellow; pours with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent clarity.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet; traditional spicy and floral notes are layered with modern accents of tropical fruit, lime, or citrus. Low grainy, doughy malt and toasted cracker qualities remain in the background with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial crisp malt sweetness reminiscent of fresh crackers is rapidly overtaken by a firm hop bitterness. Flavors of lime zest or stone fruit transition into a lingering, clean, and dry finish with a subtle minerally snap.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that provides a prickly, refreshing effervescence. No alcohol warmth; finishes crisp without any astringency.
