Metalhead’s Angel Tears reimagines the classic Weissbier by infusing a traditional German wheat base with a vibrant, modern dry-hopping. The sensory experience begins with a lively interplay between signature weizen yeast esters of ripe banana and the spicy snap of clove. This familiar foundation is elevated by a fresh, floral, and subtly citrusy hop burst that cuts through the creamy, bready layers of malted wheat. Despite its slightly elevated strength, the beer remains exceptionally refreshing, balancing a pillowy, effervescent texture with a clean, dry finish that highlights its contemporary, hop-forward character.

Appearance. Ranging from pale straw to deep gold (SRM 3-5), this beer displays a characteristic hazy appearance with a soft yeast shine. It is topped by a very thick, moussy, and long-lasting white head that leaves persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity featuring a prominent balance of ripe banana esters and spicy clove phenols. A moderate bready and doughy wheat malt character is complemented by a fresh, modern dry-hop profile of light citrus and floral notes.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, bready wheat and doughy Pilsner malt. The flavor profile is dominated by a well-rounded balance of banana and clove, followed by a fresh burst of floral and citrusy hop flavors. Bitterness is low to moderately low, providing just enough structure to lead into a clean, relatively dry finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic fluffy and creamy fullness. High carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent sensation on the tongue, with a very subtle alcohol warmth that remains well-integrated.
