Des Bonnes Gouttes is an intensely aromatic Double IPA that highlights the multifaceted nature of the Citra hop. By utilizing Citra Cryo, Citra Dynaboost, and Citra Hyperboost, the beer delivers an overwhelming saturation of pink grapefruit, mango, and lychee. This tropical foundation is sharpened by the distinctive lime zest and mojito-like citrus of Motueka. The sensory experience is defined by this lupulin-dense profile, supported by a lean, bready malt base that ensures a dry, drinkable finish. A firm bitterness balances the hop oils, while a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth emphasizes its significant strength without overshadowing the vibrant, fruit-forward character.

Appearance. Gold to light orange (7 SRM). Large, white, persistent head with excellent lacing. Slight haze, consistent with modern high-dosage dry-hopping.

Aroma. Intense, pungent hop aroma. Dominant notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and tropical lime. Background hints of resin and melon. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light crackery support. No solventy alcohol.
