This classic German Pilsner presents a masterclass in balance, opening with a refined bouquet of herbal and evergreen notes derived from traditional German hops. Brewed with premium German malts, the sensory profile features a distinct biscuit-like malt backbone that supports a crisp, clean lager character. Fermented cold and conditioned to perfection, it delivers an assertive bitterness that cuts through the palate, ensuring a bone-dry and refreshing finish. The interplay between the toasted cracker maltiness and the sharp, spicy hop profile creates a sophisticated, highly drinkable lager that embodies the purity and precision of the Reinheitsgebot tradition.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a straw to deep yellow hue (2–4 SRM). It supports a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominant herbal and evergreen hop notes are layered over a low but persistent grainy-sweet and doughy malt presence. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl; a hint of toasted cracker and biscuit is evident.
Taste. The initial impression is a flash of bready malt that is rapidly overtaken by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Hop flavors mirror the aroma with herbal and spicy qualities. The balance is decidedly bitter, leading into a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering mineral sharpness and clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that provides a prickly, refreshing texture. No perceptible alcohol warmth. Clean and crisp without any harshness or astringency.
