A collaboration between Magic Road and Funky Fluid, this Double IPA is a singular exploration of the Citra hop variety. Clocking in at 8.5% ABV from a 21 BLG base, the profile is defined by an intense aromatic burst of lime zest, white grapefruit, and succulent mango. The single-hop Citra focus delivers layers of tropical fruit and crushed pine, balanced against a clean, neutral malt character that allows the hop oils to saturate the palate without heavy caramel interference. It remains remarkably drinkable for its strength, offering a firm bitterness and a dry, resinous finish that highlights the classic citrus-forward punch of the hops.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to pale orange with a moderate degree of clarity. Topped by a persistent, off-white, creamy head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, lime, and tropical lychee. Background nuances of melon and light resin. Malt is neutral and crackery, with a clean fermentation profile and a subtle, well-integrated alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of citrus and tropical fruit, specifically tangerine and papaya. Malt flavor is low but supportive, providing a soft bready foundation. Hop bitterness is high and firm but smooth, leading into a dry finish with a lingering aftertaste of citrus pith and resin.
