This Berliner Weisse presents a vibrant, sensory-driven interpretation of the classic German style, electrified by a generous raspberry addition. The experience begins with a sharp, clean lactic sourness that defines the style, immediately met by the lush, tart aroma of fresh raspberries. Underlying this acidity is a delicate, grainy wheat malt and Pilsner malt foundation, providing a soft bready dough character that balances the fruit's intensity. Without any discernible hop influence, the beer finishes exceptionally dry and crisp, offering a refreshing, effervescent snap that highlights its low-alcohol, highly carbonated nature. It is an invigorating, fruit-forward session ale with a prickly, refreshing finish.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, glowing pinkish-red to light ruby. Large, frothy white head with poor retention, typical of the high-acid environment. Highly effervescent with visible rising bubbles.

Aroma. Moderately high intensity of sharp lactic sourness and bright, jammy raspberry fruitiness. Light notes of raw bread dough and sourdough from the wheat malt are present. No hop aroma or fermentation byproducts like diacetyl.

Taste. Dominant clean lactic acidity provides a tart initial impression, followed by juicy, tart raspberry flavors. A subtle, grainy wheat malt backbone persists through the mid-palate. Hop bitterness is undetectable, and there is no hop flavor. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering raspberry tartness and no vinegary notes.
