Left Handed Giant
This Hazy IPA presents an intricate sensory profile led by floral lemon balm and young berry leaf, unfolding into a lush core of white peach and soft pink grapefruit. The brewer’s intent focuses on a pillowy texture, achieved through a full-bodied mouthfeel that carries gently rounded stonefruit vibes. While the initial impression is intensely fruity with bright citrus peel, it evolves into classic piney notes that provide a refined bitterness on the finish. It perfectly captures the Hazy IPA style’s signature soft landing while maintaining enough structure to remain refreshingly drinkable and complex, emphasizing late-addition hop character over raw bitterness.
Appearance. Pours a deep straw to light orange with a pronounced, opaque haze that gives the beer a vibrant shine. It is topped by a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aromas featuring a unique blend of floral lemon balm, delicate berry leaf, and stone fruit. Nuances of white peach and pink grapefruit dominate, supported by a clean, lightly bready malt backbone and subtle fruity esters.
Taste. The palate is led by high-intensity flavors of ripe stonefruit and zesty citrus peel. A moderate hop bitterness emerges mid-palate with distinctive piney notes, balancing the soft fruitiness. The malt provides a neutral, grainy support, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish with a lingering resinous character.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a smooth, velvety texture and no harshness. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle lift, while the 6.5% ABV contributes a light, well-integrated warmth.

Bei einem Alkoholgehalt von 6,5 % entfaltet das Bier ein komplexes und vielschichtiges Fruchtprofil. Während der Citra-Hopfen eine Fülle von Mandarine und Passionsfrucht beisteuert, ergänzt der Simcoe das Aroma um Noten von Aprikose und Brombeere.
