Lièvre is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile through a generous dry-hopping regimen. The sensory experience is led by the complex interplay of Mosaic, offering bursts of tropical mango and dark berry, while Chinook introduces a classic resinous pine and spicy undertone. Mandarina Bavaria rounds out the bouquet with bright notes of tangerine and sweet citrus. Supported by a clean, pale malt backbone, the palate delivers a firm but integrated bitterness. This medium-bodied ale finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering trail of citrus zest and forest floor, embodying a modern, hop-forward interpretation of the style.

Appearance. Pours a medium gold with light copper highlights (approximately 8 SRM). Features a persistent, frothy off-white head with excellent lacing and a clear to slightly hazy presentation.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit and blueberry from Mosaic, backed by tangerine peel from Mandarina Bavaria. A distinct spicy, piney resinous note from Chinook provides a grounding contrast. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness supports the hop bouquet with a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and bitter. High hop flavors of grapefruit, pine, and stone fruit dominate. Low grainy-sweet malt character allows the hops to remain the focus. Bitterness is medium-high and clean, leading into a dry, crisp finish with a lingering, resinous, and citrusy aftertaste.
