2022 Synthesis Analogous is a blend of Jester King La Vie en Rose (made from the raspberries from Atrial Rubicite) and Jester King Grim Harvest (made from the blackberries from Nocturn Chrysalis) aged in whisky barrels from our friends at Balcones Distilling in Waco, Texas. We love the rich character the Balcones whisky barrels impart on this elegant blend of fruited farmhouse ales. We’re grateful to have them up the road from us and to get to work with their barrels so frequently!
La Vie en Rose was aged in Balcones barrels for a little over a year and Grim Harvest was aged in Balcones barrels for about six months.
