Vienna Lager 6-7 º 28 IBU
This Vienna Lager presents a striking bronze color, showcasing a deep German malt foundation. The aromatic profile is defined by rich, toasty notes and a bready elegance, completely free from diacetyl, with only a subtle hint of floral hops. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, sophisticated malt complexity that avoids heavy caramel or roasted flavors. A sufficient hop bitterness provides a balanced, relatively dry finish. Despite the slightly elevated strength of this particular version, it maintains a clean fermentation character and a smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel that emphasizes its continental heritage and refined, drinkable nature.
Appearance. Bronze to copper color (approx. 10–15 SRM). Features bright clarity and a large, persistent, off-white head with good lacing.
Aroma. Moderately intense malt aroma with distinct toasty and bready-rich accents. Hop aroma is low, appearing as faint floral or spicy notes. Very clean lager fermentation profile with no diacetyl or esters.
Taste. Initial impression of soft, elegant malt complexity with toasty flavors in the forefront. Hop bitterness is moderate and firm enough to balance the malt, leading to a clean, fairly dry finish. Aftertaste features a lingering combination of rich malt and subtle hop bitterness without any roasted or harsh notes.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a gentle creaminess and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth given the 6–7% ABV range.
