Pale Ale 4.5 º 20 IBU
Hope Jalisco reimagines the American Pale Ale as a vibrant, summer-centric refresher, weaving bright lime zest and the earthy, vegetal undertones of tequila into a lean malt frame. The aroma is dominated by sharp citrus and a hint of agave, supported by the clean, crackery notes of pale malt. On the palate, the lime provides a zesty acidity that amplifies the moderate bitterness, while the tequila essence adds a subtle, spirit-like depth without overwhelming the sessionable 4.5% ABV. Effervescent and crisp, it finishes dry with a lingering citrus brightness, making it an inventive, high-energy take on the style.
Appearance. Pale golden (5–7 SRM). Large, frothy white head with excellent retention and lacing. Brilliant clarity.
Aroma. Moderately high intensity featuring fresh lime zest and a distinct peppery, earthy agave note from the tequila flavoring. Supporting aromas of floral hops and a low, neutral grainy maltiness. Clean fermentation profile with no significant esters.
Taste. Initial impression is bright and citrusy with lime juice dominant. Moderate bitterness provides balance to a light, crackery malt base. The tequila adds a unique botanical complexity mid-palate. Finish is crisp and dry with a lingering, refreshing lime-pith aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high, effervescent carbonation that provides a prickly, refreshing sensation. Very low alcohol warmth. Smooth finish with no astringency.
