Overboard is an exceptionally bright and refreshing Witbier that captures the classic Belgian wheat ale character while introducing a distinct botanical twist. The foundation features soft, bready wheat malt and grainy notes, providing a smooth backdrop for the aromatic infusion of zesty orange peel and resinous juniper berries. These ingredients amplify the traditional yeast-driven esters of citrus and spice, offering a crisp, herbal complexity. With its signature milky cloudiness and high carbonation, this ale delivers an effervescent mouthfeel and a remarkably dry finish. The juniper provides a subtle, pine-like snap that perfectly balances the citrus zest, resulting in a clean, lively sensory profile.

Appearance. SRM 2-4, very pale straw to light yellow. Very cloudy with a milky, whitish-yellow shine. Dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity. Low bready and grainy wheat malt character with subtle honey notes. Prominent zesty orange peel and resinous, gin-like juniper berry aromatics. Yeast-derived notes of light pepper and spice. Very low herbal hop presence.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and botanical. Moderate grainy wheat malt flavor provides a soft base for zesty orange citrus and the distinct, pine-like snap of juniper berries. Low bitterness, approximately 15 IBUs, supports a very dry and refreshing finish. No harshness or astringency, leaving a clean, herbal and citrusy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, light creaminess from the wheat. Effervescent character due to high carbonation. No perceived alcohol warmth. Refreshing and crisp finish.
