METROPOLIS is an intensely saturated Double IPA that showcases an aggressive hop profile led by Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe, layered with the tropical punch of Vic Secret and the vinous elegance of Nelson Sauvin. At 10% ABV, it presents a concentrated sensory experience of crushed pineapple, ripe passionfruit, and bright lime zest against a backdrop of pine resin and white grape. The pale, gold body supports a lush, velvety texture, masking the significant strength with a clean, neutral malt base. Despite the high gravity, the finish remains remarkably drinkable, allowing a persistent, fruit-forward hop character to linger long after the smooth alcohol warmth subsides.

Appearance. 7 SRM (Gold to light orange). Persistent white head with fine bubbles and excellent lacing. Slight to moderate haze, typical for modern versions with multiple dry-hop additions.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Pungent passionfruit and blueberry from Mosaic are followed by the citrus zest of Citra and a distinct gooseberry note from Nelson Sauvin. Substantial pineapple and herbal pine from Vic Secret and Simcoe add complexity. Fermentation is clean with very light fruity esters; malt is neutral and supportive.

Taste. Explosive hop flavors of mango, pineapple, and citrus (grapefruit, lime) dominate. Moderate bitterness provides balance without harshness, allowing the tropical fruit character to shine. The malt contributes a soft, grainy sweetness that transitions into a medium-dry finish. A lingering resinous and tropical aftertaste persists, accompanied by a clean, smooth alcohol flavor.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. A noticeable and well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. No hop-derived astringency or harshness.
