Hop Hooligans

This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory escape, led by a saturated hop profile of Pacific Sunrise, Mosaic Cryo, and Azacca. The grist, featuring Extra Pale malt alongside Flaked oats and Wheat malt, provides a soft, luminous canvas for intense tropical fruit notes of mango, melon, and bright citrus. Fermented with London Ale III, the beer exhibits supportive stone fruit esters that meld seamlessly with the hop-derived juicy character. Its appearance captures a crystalline, hazy shimmer, leading into a pillowy mouthfeel that balances a restrained bitterness with a refreshing, fruit-forward finish reminiscent of a serene coastal retreat.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine. Persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of ripe mango, passionfruit, and sweet citrus. The Mosaic Cryo and Azacca provide a deep tropical punch, while Pacific Sunrise adds bright lemon-lime highlights. Low bready malt and stone fruit esters from the yeast provide a supportive background.

Taste. Explodes with tropical fruit flavors; pineapple, mango, and citrus zest dominate. Low to medium-high hop bitterness that is soft and never harsh. The malt flavor is bready and neutral, derived from the wheat and oats. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth, with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. No alcoholic warmth or astringency; very smooth and creamy without being heavy.
