Inner Voice is a contemporary, high-impact German Pils that reconciles traditional European crispness with a vibrant New World hop profile. Built on a foundation of ultra-pale Heidelberg malt and rice flakes for a bone-dry finish, it showcases an aggressive bouquet from Simcoe, Southern Cross, Motueka, and Citra hops. The sensory experience is defined by zesty lime, bright tropical fruit, and a resinous pine undertone. While leaning toward a higher strength for the style, the clean fermentation from WLP850 yeast ensures the focus remains on its sharp, refreshing bitterness and lean, refreshing character.

Appearance. Brilliant, pale straw to yellow (2–3 SRM) with a tall, creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.

Aroma. High hop intensity featuring lime zest, lemon peel, and crushed pine needles from Motueka and Southern Cross. Subtle tropical layers of passion fruit and grapefruit from Citra and Simcoe are present. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt character with a hint of toasted crackers. Clean fermentation profile with no esters.

Taste. Firm initial bitterness that is quickly met by flavors of citrus zest, lime, and resin. The Heidelberg malt and rice flakes provide a lean, cracker-like background that allows the hop flavors to dominate. Moderate-high bitterness is crisp and clean, leading into a bone-dry finish with a lingering herbal and citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a snappy, crisp texture. High carbonation provides a refreshing, prickly sensation. Very light alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated; no astringency.
