This American IPA is a nostalgic tribute to classic West Coast profiles, driven by a resinous trifecta of Cascade, Chinook, and Simcoe hops. A vibrant sensory bouquet of grapefruit zest, sticky pine needles, and dank forest floor dominates the experience, supported by a clean, lean malt backbone. The pour reveals brilliant clarity with persistent white foam. On the palate, a firm, assertive bitterness from the Chinook and Simcoe slices through subtle notes of toasted cracker, leading to a bone-dry and resinous finish. It captures a masterclass in balance, where the aggressive hop character is refined by a smooth mouthfeel and a well-integrated alcohol warmth.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (approx. 7–9 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Persistent, off-white, medium-sized head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent notes of pine resin, grapefruit rind, and a hint of passionfruit. Chinook provides an earthy, spicy edge, while Simcoe adds a subtle woodsy dankness and Cascade contributes floral citrus. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness in the background with a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial punch of citrus peel and resinous hops. Moderate-high to high bitterness that is clean and lacks harshness. Malt flavor is low, primarily bready or lightly toasty, allowing the hops to lead. Mid-palate suggests dried orange peel and pine needles. Finish is very dry and crisp with a long-lingering, hoppy aftertaste.
