The sensory experience is defined by the sharp, crisp character of roasted barley, delivering a profile where bold bitterness and light sweetness are expertly married. Aromas of medium-intensity roasted grain and coffee mingle with subtle fermentation esters. On the palate, a prominent roasted bite is rounded out by a smooth malt core and a touch of dark chocolate, culminating in a clean, lingering dry finish. It exemplifies the Dublin-style stout, prioritizing a distinctively roasted, refreshing punch over creamy sweetness.
Appearance. Jet black in the glass, though revealing deep ruby highlights when held to light. Topped by a dense, tan-colored head with moderate retention and light lacing. Opaque, yet showing clarity in the reddish hues at the glass edges.
