Green Flash West Coast IPA is a benchmark American IPA, delivering a pungent and unapologetically hop-forward experience. This pioneering ale utilizes a blend of five different hops to create complex sensory layers, leading with aggressive resinous pine and deep floral notes followed by a burst of ripe citrus. The palate is dominated by a firm, assertive bitterness that is balanced by a restrained, clean malt backbone. Its profile is defined by a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes the lupulin impact, leaving a lingering trail of grapefruit zest and evergreen. Appearance. Brilliant deep gold to light copper with exceptional clarity. Topped by a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and thick, soapy lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of sticky pine resin, damp earth, and dried flowers, alongside a vibrant ripe citrus character resembling orange peel and grapefruit. Low clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral backdrop.

Taste. Initial hop-derived flavors of grapefruit and pine needles are immediate and intense. The bitterness is very high but clean, supported by a low, slightly toasty malt flavor. The fermentation profile is neutral, leading into a very dry finish with a long-lasting, resinous, and hoppy aftertaste.
