En collaboration avec Intelligentsia (un torréfacteur notamment basé à Chicago), l’équipe de Goose Island s’est rendue au Guatemala pour sélectionner des grains de café d’exception, donnant naissance à leur tout premier Coffee Barleywine. Brassé dans le plus pur style anglais, ce Barleywine met le malt au premier plan avant d’être élevé en fûts de Bourbon Heaven Hill de plus de quatre ans.
Les grains de café La Soledad sont ajoutés juste avant le conditionnement afin de préserver toute l’intensité aromatique du café, pour un profil riche et expressif, où la profondeur maltée rencontre une signature café franche et élégante.
