This Oatmeal Stout presents a rich, dessert-like sensory experience, defined by its signature velvety texture. The aroma is led by medium-high notes of freshly roasted coffee and dark chocolate, underpinned by a faint nutty graininess from the oats. On the palate, a lush creaminess carries flavors of bittersweet cocoa and roasted malt, balanced by a gentle sweetness. While traditionally rooted in the English tradition, this iteration's slightly elevated strength introduces a subtle alcohol warmth that complements the full-bodied, silky mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and lingering, leaving traces of mocha and earthy complexity.

Appearance. Deep brown to near-black (35–40 SRM) and opaque. Crowning the glass is a thick, persistent, tan-colored head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of roasted grains with prominent notes of espresso and milk chocolate. A light malty sweetness suggests coffee-and-cream, accompanied by a subtle, grainy-nutty oatmeal character. Hop aroma is very low and earthy, with faint dark fruit esters in the background.

Taste. Initial impression is soft and malty, quickly followed by layers of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. The oatmeal contributes a distinct toasty-nutty and grainy flavor. Bitterness is medium and well-integrated, leading to a medium-sweet finish that avoids being cloying. The aftertaste is roasty and smooth.
