This Munich Helles is a masterclass in drinkability, offering a refined sensory experience that balances traditional German elegance with a subtle modern touch. Pouring incredibly bright and clear, it opens with a moderate grainy-sweet malt aroma characteristic of premium continental malts. The addition of Hallertau Mittelfruh provides a delicate layer of floral and spicy notes, while the inclusion of Cascade adds a faint citrus brightness that enhances the beer's freshness without overshadowing the malt. The palate is soft and rounded, delivering a clean fermentation profile and a gentle, dry finish. It captures the essence of a classic, crisp lager, emphasizing malt-forward smoothness and refreshing restraint.

Appearance. Pale gold (3-4 SRM) with brilliant, incredible clarity. Features a persistent, dense, creamy white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass as it recedes.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a prominent grainy-sweet malt core. Hop character is low to moderately-low, presenting traditional floral and spicy notes from Hallertau Mittelfruh, complemented by a very subtle, fresh citrus lift from the Cascade hops. The fermentation profile is exceptionally clean and well-lagered, devoid of esters or diacetyl.

Taste. The initial impression is one of soft, grainy-sweet maltiness. This rounded malt flavor carries through the mid-palate, supported by a low to medium-low bitterness that ensures the finish is not cloying. Hop flavors of spice and wildflower honey are joined by a delicate citrus whisper. The finish is clean and dry rather than sharply crisp, with a lingering, pleasant malt-sweetness in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, supple, well-lagered texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle tingle on the tongue. There is no perceived alcohol warmth or astringency, resulting in a highly refreshing and effortless mouthfeel.
