The sensory experience is dominated by an intense, hop-forward arrival of ripe mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus zest, hallmarks of modern New World hop varieties. A clean, neutral malt base provides the necessary structure without introducing heavy caramel tones, ensuring the lupulin intensity remains the primary focal point. On the palate, a firm bitterness balances the tropical sweetness, leading into a dry, crisp finish with a lingering resinous aftertaste. At 8.1% ABV, a smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, enhancing the beer’s bold profile.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange-copper (6-9 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing. Slight haze is present, consistent with modern juicy interpretations.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pungent tropical fruit, mango, and tangerine citrus. Background notes of resinous pine. Malt character is very low and neutral-grainy. Fermentation is clean with a very light, smooth alcohol note.
Taste. Initial impression is a massive burst of tropical fruit and citrus peel hop flavors. Moderately high bitterness that is firm but lacks harshness. Low, supportive, clean malt character. Finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste and clean bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Medium carbonation. Includes a noticeable but restrained and smooth alcohol warmth. No harsh hop-derived astringency.
