Berlin Echo Prism is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies modern hop saturation through a heavy double dry-hopping of Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense bouquet of ripe mango, crushed pineapple, and bright tangerine, underpinned by a subtle blueberry and stone fruit complexity. A soft, bready malt backbone provides a plush cushion for these hop oils without introducing cloying sweetness. Pours with a characteristic opaque glow and a dense, meringue-like head. The finish is remarkably smooth, showcasing a refined, juice-like bitterness that emphasizes fruit depth over harshness, consistent with the brewery's signature polished profile.
Appearance. Pale straw to light golden orange (SRM 3-5). Opaque, uniform haze with a luminous quality. Thick, white, rocky head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), citrus (tangerine, lime), and a hint of berry. Low, neutral, bready malt background. Estery fermentation profile suggestive of peach or apricot, perfectly integrated with the hops.
Taste. High tropical hop flavor with dominant pineapple, mango, and citrus zest. Low bready malt flavor provides a soft platform. Bitterness is low to medium-low and very soft, never sharp. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth with a lingering, clean fruit aftertaste and no hop burn.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, plush texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light alcohol warmth. No astringency or raw starchiness; feels creamy and well-rounded on the palate.
