Cuando aún era un chaval, supo vender sus propias creaciones: camisetas serigrafiadas usando el nylon de las medias de su madre, cassettes grabadas por él, gorros hechos con las perneras de los pantalones de deporte. Más adelante fundó un sello discográfico de hardcore llamado Yellow Dog, el cual sigue desde 1995 produciendo ese tipo de música “mala”. Antes trabajó como maquinista de centrales térmicas. Más tarde montó ferias de muestras, aprendió a cuidar profesionalmente de enfermos, programó páginas web y se graduó como diseñador de medios. ¿Por qué tantas profesiones? Simplemente por el deseo intenso de aprender.
Su última estación fue fundar en 2006 una micro cervecería en Berlín. Su compañero elaboraba la cerveza y Sven se ocupaba del bar, la promoción, organizar acontecimientos. Su cervecería se hizo popular tanto en el vecindario como entre los múltiples turistas que visitaban la ciudad. Esto le otorgó la posibilidad de conocer a muchas personas, incluidos cerveceros de todo el mundo.
Su curiosidad por el mundo de la cerveza creció con todas esas experiencias y no pudo evitar comenzar a elaborar cerveza en la cocina de casa. Ahora está trabajando en su nuevo sueño: abrir una cervecería en El Molinar, un barrio pequeño y agradable de Palma de Mallorca y ¡ofrecer su propia cerveza!
La otra rueda de este equipo soy yo, Marta. Soy la catadora de la cerveza, traductora, directora de proyecto, secretaria, redactora,... La ayudante entre bastidores.
Y cómo no, hay que mencionar a nuestros chuchos. Ellos nos ayudan a levantarnos por las mañanas independientemente de lo mucho que duró el trabajo ayer. Y también nos recuerdan que hay que hacer alguna pausa para pasear bajo el sol mediterráneo, junto al mar.
