Rhythm Rug is a vibrant Appalachian Wild Ale defined by an immense addition of four pounds per gallon of fresh local strawberries. The local barley and raw wheat provide a soft, rustic grain foundation that supports a complex fermentation driven by Fonta Flora’s mixed house cultures. Expect a vivid sensory experience where bright, jammy berry notes intermingle with a delicate, earthy funk and a hint of wild meadows. The natural bottle fermentation ensures a lively effervescence, accentuating the dry, crisp finish characteristic of Brett-forward fermentations. Appearance. 3–6 SRM with distinct pink and ruby highlights from the strawberries; foam is light pink with moderate retention and fine lacing; hazy to cloudy appearance due to the inclusion of raw wheat and fruit pectins.
