This modern American Pale Ale presents a vibrant New World hop profile centered on Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Nectaron. The sensory experience is led by an intense aromatic burst of white grape, zesty lime, and lush stone fruit. A soft, hazy body provides a pillowy foundation for these tropical layers, reflecting a double dry-hopped approach that prioritizes juicy fruit character over sharp bitterness. The malt presence remains supportive and unobtrusive, offering a neutral, grainy sweetness that allows the southern hemisphere hops to shine. It concludes with a clean, smooth finish that emphasizes drinkability while maintaining a complex, fruit-forward aromatic persistence.
Appearance. Pale golden (6 SRM). Large, white, creamy head with excellent retention and significant lacing. Hazy clarity with a soft, glowing appearance.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white grape, fresh lime zest, and ripe stone fruits like peach and nectarine. Subtle tropical accents of passionfruit. Low, neutral grainy maltiness and light fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression of juicy tropical fruit and citrus. Malt flavor is low and bready, providing a neutral backdrop for dominant hop flavors of white grape, lime, and crushed gooseberry. Moderate bitterness that is well-integrated and never harsh. Finish is medium-dry and clean with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. Smooth finish with no perceived astringency.
