This massive Double IPA presents an explosive sensory profile driven by a heavy saturation of Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops. The aroma is dominated by ripe mango, navel orange, and a dank, resinous pine. Despite the towering 15% ABV, it maintains the deceptive drinkability of its style, offering a velvet-like texture with waves of tropical fruit, zesty lime, and stone fruit. The malt remains a clean, supportive stage for the intense hop oils, finishing with a firm bitterness and a deep, warming glow that highlights its immense strength and complexity.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (8 SRM). Very hazy and opaque with a thick, dense, creamy white head that shows excellent persistence and heavy lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intensity is very high. Assertive citrus notes of grapefruit and orange zest from the Amarillo blend with tropical mango and passion fruit from the Citra. A secondary layer of resinous pine and woodsy earth from the Simcoe provides depth. Malt is low, appearing as a clean, doughy sweetness. Fermentation esters of peach are present, alongside a significant but clean alcohol note.

Taste. Massive initial hit of hop saturation. Intense flavors of candied orange peel, pineapple, and resinous sap. Hop bitterness is high but remarkably smooth, avoiding harshness. Malt flavor is minimal, providing a neutral, cracker-like backdrop that supports the high gravity. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering warmth and tropical fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a creamy, mouth-coating texture. Carbonation is moderate. Significant, warming alcohol presence that remains smooth and integrated. No hop-derived astringency.
