Ferrous Falcon

This Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by four distinct dry-hop stages using Lotus, Nectaron, Riwaka, and Strata. The result is a saturated profile where Nectaron provides bold nectarine and peach notes, while Riwaka adds sharp passionfruit and citrus. Strata contributes a complex layer of strawberry and dank resin, all softened by the creamy orange and vanilla hints of Lotus. The collaboration with Fidens ensures a modern, unfiltered body that supports the high bitterness. At 8.4% ABV, the beer remains lean and dry, finishing with a lingering, fruit-forward resinous bite and well-integrated warmth.

Appearance. Hazy, deep gold to light copper (8-10 SRM) due to its unfiltered nature. Features a dense, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma with prominent peach, nectarine, and passionfruit. Subtler notes of orange peel, vanilla, and a berry-like sweetness. Very low, neutral, grainy malt presence.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of grapefruit, stone fruit, and tropical melon. High bitterness that remains smooth and avoids harshness. Soft, unobtrusive malt character with a dry finish and a lingering hoppy, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation and a noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth with no harsh astringency.
