Emporium Microbrasserie

This Hazy IPA is a masterclass in hop layering, showcasing the multifaceted personality of the hop variety through the use of Mosaic, Mosaic Incognito, and Mosaic Lupomax. The result is a sensory explosion of ripe tropical fruit, featuring prominent notes of mango, papaya, and a distinct blueberry undertone characteristic of the cultivar. A background of grainy, bready malt provides a soft foundation for the intense hop saturation. The fermentation profile is clean with supportive esters that enhance the juicy impression. It pours with a beautiful opaque shine, leading into a pillowy-soft mouthfeel that finishes with a gentle, restrained bitterness and a lingering citrus zest.

Appearance. Straw to golden-orange with a hazy, nearly opaque shine. Forms a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring mango, papaya, and blueberry. Background malt is grainy and bready. Fermentation is clean with light fruity esters that do not clash with the tropical hop profile.

Taste. High hop flavor of tropical fruit, tangerine, and stone fruit. Malt is low but supportive with a bready character. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low and smooth. Finishes off-dry with a clean, fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any harshness or astringency.
