El Barbas Øl Day Rude

American IPA 6.4 º 70 IBU
This vibrant American IPA pours a bright golden-blonde, radiating an intense and refreshing bouquet of tropical fruit, zesty citrus, and delicate floral notes. Designed for all-day accessibility despite its 6.4% ABV, the palate opens with a fresh burst of mango and grapefruit flavors that transition into a medium-intense hop presence. The supporting malt remains lean and grainy, providing a clean foundation for the assertive bitterness to shine. It concludes with a signature long, dry finish that emphasizes its crisp character, making it an excellent companion for spicy appetizers or a session of mindful sipping.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with excellent clarity. It supports a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves fine lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (pineapple, passionfruit), bright citrus peel, and a distinct floral top note. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt provides a subtle backdrop with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is fresh and hop-forward, featuring layers of tropical fruit and citrus. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, balanced by a low, clean maltiness with faint toasted notes. The fermentation is clean, leading into a long, dry, and distinctly hoppy aftertaste without harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, moderately creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its 6.4% strength.
