Tangerine Skies is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a sophisticated citrus-forward profile, amplified by the addition of real tangerine and five hop varieties sourced from three continents. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense aromatic bouquet of fresh tangerine zest, grapefruit, and tropical fruit, underpinned by a subtle piney resin. On the palate, the fruit's bright acidity and pithy character integrate seamlessly with a firm hop bitterness and a clean, grainy malt backbone. This medium-bodied ale finishes crisp and dry, with a lingering citrus aftertaste and a well-integrated alcohol warmth that reflects its 6.8% strength.
Appearance. Medium gold color (8 SRM) with slight haze from the fruit addition. Features a medium-sized, white, persistent head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop and fruit aroma; prominent fresh tangerine and citrus zest. Supporting hop notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and light pine. Low, clean, grainy maltiness with a neutral fermentation profile.
